Title:

Active Teaching Strategies That Engage Reluctant Learners

Abstract:

What do you do when faced with blank stares, nodding heads, and day-dreaming minds? Exceptional educators know that all students must be actively engaged in order to reach their maximum potential. Research shows that all students have a high need to be active learners, not passive sponges. This session will outline and demonstrate 20+ strategies that will get students out of their seats and engaged. "I'll try that on Monday” ideas will be the primary focus.
